I have been working as a psychotherapist, university lecturer and leader of soul-oriented personal growth workshops since 2000.
My training as a psychotherapist combines my career as a nurse with a graduate degree together with an extensive range of courses in psychotherapy.
I offer individual, couple and family sessions with an emphasis on psychodynamic depth oriented and relational work. I specialize in working with those who present with anxiety and depression. I also offer grief and bereavement therapy, life transitions counselling and sexuality therapy (including issues that arise related to sexual orientation). I believe we are each a unique and valuable presence in the world and as such I am respectful of all cultures, faith traditions or family configurations.
As a registered psychotherapist, I am covered by many workplace insurance plans. Clients may choose either the hour long session or an extended 90 minute session. I offer an initial free consultation by phone or in person so you can determine if sessions with me would be a good fit for your needs.
