I am a registered Psychodynamic Psychotherapist with CRPO. I hold a diploma from the School for Psychotherapy and Emotional Bodywork (1999). I have a broad range of experience in the areas depression, anger, anxiety and chronic illness. I am empathetic and respectful to a client's process and offer a confidential and non-judgmental environment where clients can explore their issues.
My approach is always client-centered; this is the client's journey; they hold the pieces and stories to which I offer trained insight and exploration from which they gain new understanding of their life patterns and forge new life pathways. The therapeutic goal is for a client to enter into a life-long dialogue and awareness with themselves so that, after formal therapy has ended, they may continue to make healthy life choices for themselves.
I draw from a wide modality of techniques and experience when working with my clients including dream interpretation, creative expression, movement, somatic emotional bodywork, myth, relaxation and visualization.
I offer workshops on Stress Management, Relaxation and Visualization to the general public and to corporate and not-for-profit workplace environments.
I offer a free 1/2 hr phone or video consultation to new clients.
