About Me

Hello. First, let me introduce myself; my name is Laura, and as a dedicated therapist, I have had the privilege of guiding individuals through life's intricate pathways and complex journeys. Together, I work alongside my clients to explore their curiosities, transform outdated patterns, and revisit pivotal experiences, so that my clients are in a position to rediscover - and embrace, their true sense of self.

With extensive experience in supporting individuals through heightened anxiety, bipolar disorder, ADHD, Borderline Personality Disorder, complex PTSD, suicidal ideation, addictions, behaviural disruptions/change, and schizoaffective disorders (to name a few), my protessional experience honors the impact of these changes on each unique individual.

While classically trained in Psychodynamic Psychotherapy, I also incorporate evidence-based practices such as Art Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Somatic Integration (should my clients be interested), in order to help create a sense of mutual understanding that underpins experiences and repetition. My role is to create a secure, inquisitive space that fosters empathy and connection, so that you can explore your place of feeling stuck in something that no longer serves you.

Through a client-centric lens whereby you are the expert of your own life, we incorporate the complexity that is being human by embracing life stages, cultural influences, social constructs, sexual orientation, religious/spiritual beliefs, diversity, intergenerational dynamics, and family order (to name a few) so that we can gain a deeper insight and appreciation toward your personal narrative and identity that may require healing.
