About Me

I support clients to explore how they typically deal with life challenges and how over time they have adapted creatively to survive. Experientially we work to enhance awareness of their 'go-to' behaviors: how these evolved over time, and how they are being served by them in their current lives.

The goal is self-awareness, the essential springboard of personal growth. Growth only happens in the context of a relationship. The relationship between client and therapist is a microcosm of other relationships in the client's life. Within the safe container of the therapy session we are able to observe our impact upon the another and how we go about connecting and making meaning.

Clients are invited to try out new ways of responding to stimulus and making contact that can be carried into their relationships in the outside world. With my training in Gestalt therapy and psychoanalysis I am comfortable meeting clients wherever they are, moving fluidly between the surface level of expression and how they 'body forth' and deeper dives into their underlying conflicts and motivations.
