As a psychodynamic psychotherapist, I believe in creating a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental space for self-exploration and healing. My client-centered, strength-based, and culturally sensitive approach focuses on providing my clients the means to better understand themselves and their experiences. I work collaboratively with each client, tailoring treatment to their unique needs. My work involves exploration of thoughts, feelings, patterns, and ways of relating to others, as well as building strength, resiliency, and skills to navigate through difficult times and reach desired goals.

A simple way to understand psychotherapy is, to make sense together. Thus, my practice of psychotherapy is collaborative, focusing on developing and maintaining a therapeutic relationship with my clients. My therapeutic approach is influenced by integrative psychodynamic psychotherapy, and different techniques are interweaved based on the session and the client. Additionally, it is also guided by my interest in human development and my research on the inner child.

I work with individuals and couples. I am currently accepting new clients. We all need support, to feel connected, and to know that who we are is okay. Anxiety, depression, trauma, low self-esteem, addictions are the result of not having these needs met. We are more and more distracted by our busy lives, or by technology. Community is harder to find. Where in your life do you feel connection with others? Where and with whom are you able to feel safe enough to show your true self? Do you allow yourself the space and time to feel? Or do you even know how you feel? I provide the space, the ...

Words are very important. They distinguish us as human beings from our fellow creatures. In psychotherapy the particular importance of putting thoughts and feelings into words is unmistakable. Psychoanalytic or psychodynamic psychotherapy is sometimes called the 'talking cure.' When you talk in a psychotherapeutic context about what is bothering or upsetting or puzzling you, something can change. As a psychotherapist I work by listening closely to what a person says and thinks and feels. Every therapy is specific to the individual. My method is to listen deeply over a sustained period of time ...
