About Me

I bring compassion and understanding to individuals experiencing isolation, despair or sadness; feeling invisible, misunderstood or out of place; experiencing painful shame or guilt; having difficulty changing their emotional and behavioural patterns; or having difficulty coping with trauma.

Psychotherapy is a valuable opportunity to experience yourself differently, work through conflicts, handle overwhelming emotions, modify behaviours, expand possibilities, and create enduring changes.

There can be many reasons for your suffering and struggles such as, unmet needs, experiences you missed out on, and the ways you developed to cope with life events and relationships.

I strive to create a safe space free of judgment and expectation to help you discover your own unique way of being in the world. I encourage a compassionate and honest exploration of thoughts, feelings, dreams, physical sensations and behaviours to nurture emotional insights. In other words, I invite you to be all of yourself so that you can experience feeling whole, accepted and valued for who you are.

I bring a unique perspective, based on life events, to those navigating the challenges of the immigrant experience and growing up in two cultures which can set up conflicting expectations around individual versus family, traditional versus modern, men versus women and relationships, in general.
