Carolina Edwards is the Executive Director and Senior Faculty of the Gestalt Institute of Toronto, and a psychotherapist in private practice. Her initial training in communicative disorders from the University of Western Ontario, specializing in audiology, gave her a unique opportunity to explore counseling in the context of children and families with hearing loss.
She has worked in educational settings for many years setting up a consulting practice for school boards across southwestern Ontario, and then completed her MBA at the University of Toronto. She graduated from the postgraduate training program at the Gestalt Institute of Toronto in 1994 and later became a teaching faculty member where she has taught for the past 24 years. She assumed the role of Executive Director of the Gestalt Institute of Toronto in June 2013.
